2010

From the 8th to the 26th December, Pascal held an exhibition at Café Restaurant Shu. Shu is famous for its cuisine lunches and dinners and its occasional live music and exhibitions.

Many of Pascal’s friends and acquaintances came to Shu, as did many from the local artist and artisan community. On both Pascal’s own opening night celebrations and the Shu bonenkai end of year party, he played music. At the opening, it was a pick up band comprising Pascal’s musician friends with Pascal playing piano and later guitar; on the 26th Pascal’s band comprised local musicians, bass player Masa Takahashi and drummer Tsutomu Nozaki, and Pascal’s special guest, lead guitarist Masahiro Osawa. Pascal sang and played rhythm guitar. They rounded off a musical evening featuring performances from local and not so local performers with a set of rock and roll and blues.

The joint was rocking; and many heads were going round and round…

Pascal thanks everybody who helped with the exhibition, who came to the exhibition and who showed their support in various ways. He hopes to exhibit at Café Shu again in 2011.

2009

Pascal and Morgan Fisher held a very well-attended joint photography exhibition at Superdeluxe, Tokyo, 10-25 June. Thank you to all of you who came to visit.

Pascal also participated in the exhibition 'The Art of Living in The South of France' on September 6th at Harajuku Design Fiesta.

At an exhibition of my erotic photography a while back, I noted with pleasure that at least half the visitors were female, and while the male visitors generally made immature comments and jokes about the models’ telephone numbers, the female visitors stayed and discussed the works amongst themselves, with my models and with me.
